The CLI is deterministic. The supervisor supplies planning and judgment. Together they make a repeatable loop any local runtime can join.

Install

An installed command uses the current directory as its root. A central checkout can target a prepared repository with useagent --root F:\dev\DemoStore ....

Worker loop

Automatic worker intake

Use an explicitly configured argv adapter when you want workers to start from the mailbox automatically. worker run is bounded by task count, idle wait and runner timeout; Codex, Claude Code and Antigravity keep their provider-specific launch details inside the adapter.

python tools/useagent.py worker run --agent <id> --max-tasks 2 --wait-seconds 300

No runner is configured by default. A runner that exits without task report is recorded as failed with evidence so the supervisor can debug it.

Autopilot cycle

Every cycle is bounded. It stops for ambiguity, missing access, scope conflicts, repeated failures or unsafe side effects. A scheduler may invoke the next cycle later; the CLI never creates an infinite self-loop.
